Changes to Avalon
Here is what's new! I've been busily learning and progressing with my art, and am continuing with my poetry. I've learned to use Poser, to combine with my love for texture makeing, and my love for detail and color. I'd like to make you aware also, that I'm endeavoring to make available my art to you in prints or on products. I found two places I feel are very decent, and I trust won't dissappoint us in bringing my art to your home. One is My Zazzle.com and this is my shop there.. http://www.zazzle.com/contributors/products/gallery/browse_results.asp?cid=238196970748495885
The other is Cafe Press, and this is my brand new shop there.. http://www.cafeshops.com/Elfenone I specialize in a lot of fantasy, but do other types of art as well. |
Welcome to my Haven, Our Haven.
This is where it begins. My endowment to you who wander here. Settle on the velvet verde grasses and lean against the welcoming trunk of one of the many oaks. Listen to the music of birdsong. Sip the nectar of our nurturing flowers. Elfenone's Avalon welcomes you.

~*GLIMMERING LOVE*~
Have you ever seen the shadow of two lovers
dancing across the light of a full blue moon?
If you did you heard their whispers and their magic romantic tune.
Have you ever felt the energy of the purest love
and known you were in the embrace of angels from above.
Have you ever floated on the pinkest mist of early morning dew.
While all the time feeling soft warm whispers saying I love you.
If you have ever had the gift of knowing all these things.
then my friend you'll understand why I have glimmerings.//WRM//97@

~*ARBOREAL LOVERS*~ By: Robin Minick
Illusory, arboreal lovers, Bending crusted trunks in
Creaking songs on silent winds.
Their love yous said with shaking leaves
And tapping of outstretched branches.
Green are the energies of their desire,
Which grows inside the ages told in rings
And on ,and on, and on
Their roots entwine 'neath warmth of earth to meet
With other worldly denizens of their fractiled universe.
Down into caves opening cavernous
To great halls magnificent.
Which lead to a single beating heart,
Where these arboreal lovers feel it all so deeply.
Oh what stories could be told,
But only to special listeners, who've found
A home inside those nurturing limbs,
And know with love to hear how a
Tree will fall in a silent forest.
You Have to Believe in Dreams
By: Robin Minick
You would have to believe in dreams,
and walk in their reality
to know that dreamers love there often more than here.
You have to believe in shadow dances and mysts across the
whispers of time and
lay down promising to join in slumber's journeys
with one who's traveled there
with you through ages past.~
You must have faith in these things that others scoff at,
giving their futile words of Skepticism. You must simply smile
and say..dream your way...and I'll dream mine.WRM98@
A Single Candle’s Glow
By: Robin Minick
1997
Against the light of a single candle's glow
Two dance to a waltz that only they can know.
Silhouettes upon the page of a story written about an ancient dance
Of dreams and melodies formed within the womb of chance,
A dance of time immortal, of love and springtime's bloom
Where she was a princess bride and he was a kingly groom.
Merriment of celebration, an anniversary of dreams that only two could know
All against the light of single candles glow.
A passage of time replayed
Delicately displayed
A ballet, a rustling of wings, a rushing of
Winds, and a steadfast light
Empowering this waltz tonight.
Beneath the single candle of the moon,
Two lovers chance to meet,
And touch without the melting of a
Single bit of time's wax... within their eyes,
a brave love shines, to sparkle now the heavens glory, and approve
of every flowing movement and every word whispered..
Because beneath this golden glow...
Two hearts will come to know...
That ever in the moonlight,
And upon a wistful sigh the magic of a candle no lover can deny.

Aquavia
Aquavia is an underwater haven in my Avalon, where is a station of meditation, stop and find peace.
THERE, INTO THE WIND By: Robin Minick 1998 Pushing at my window, I feel your chilling relentless Song and you sing winter
I tremble remembering when I regarded you a lover
Of my soul.
There, into the wind
I dream of dancing on
The compass of your breath.
With icy fingers you trace the lines of my existence,
And you blow me straight into the wind.
